Yulia Navalnaya Speaks at the Estoril Conferences in Portugal
Yulia Navalnaya took part in the Estoril Conferences, an international forum held in Portugal that brings together political leaders, experts, and civil society representatives from around the world.
During the conference, Navalnaya joined Portuguese journalist Rebecca Abecassis for a conversation about the work of the Russian opposition, the challenges facing Russians under Vladimir Putin’s regime, and the difficulties experienced by those who oppose the war and the dictatorship.
The discussion also focused on European policy toward Russia. Navalnaya shared her views on the mistakes European leaders are making in their approach to Putin and explained why it is important to take into account the interests of Russians who oppose his regime.
Established in 2009, the Estoril Conferences have welcomed heads of state, Nobel Prize laureates, business leaders, academics, and civil society representatives. The forum provides a platform for discussing major global challenges and exploring practical solutions.
