Yulia Navalnaya has been awarded the Politiken Freedom Prize from Denmark’s leading newspaper

The award ceremony took place on February 22.

“The Freedom Prize this year is being awarded to a woman who is at the forefront of the fight for democracy in Russia. <...> Her husband didn’t give up. Neither does she,” states the article about Yulia’s award on Politiken’s website.

The Politiken Freedom Prize is an honor presented by the Danish newspaper Politiken to individuals who defend freedom, often at great personal risk.
