The Second Expert Forum Hosted by Yulia Navalnaya
From May 9 to 11, the second expert forum took place.
For the first time, 15 Russian students attended the event. They were selected through a motivational letter competition, with around 10 applicants competing for each spot.
I was very pleased with this event. First, many of the participants had already met and worked together during the previous forum. Second, we welcomed new people and formed new working groups—which is always inspiring. And third, we invited 15 students—bright young people who had to leave Russia but still dream of returning. They fully understand that it’s their generation that will be responsible for building the country’s future. The forum focused on developing concrete political and economic reforms, including a transition to genuine federalism, reducing the role of the state in the economy, and reforming both the military and the school education system.
